Films: Triassic World (2018)
Alias: Gojirasaurus
Type: Man-Made
Location: Civilized Area
Height/Weight: That of average cattle.
Affiliation: Neutral
Summary: What's this?! A movie that actually uses Triassic predators instead of the stock ones that succeeded them? Could it be...? No. No it isn't. It's all for show. Have fun with these generic-looking dinos.
History: For reasons that simply cannot be reasonable nor productive, a whole facility has cloned a group of Gojirasaurs. Can you guess what happens next? Every one of them breaks out, and the people stuck in the building are at the mercy of these creatures.
Notable Kills: Nothing special.
Final Fate: Many of the Gojirasaurs are killed, but one manages to release them all. But as the main trio that started this closes in on their next kill, the deadly gas contingency plan finally initializes, and the dinos are gassed to death. However, the survivor smuggled an egg for unknown reason...
Powers/Abilities: None.
Weakness: Anything conventional.
Scariness Factor: 2-It's SO f*cking obvious that the Asylum simply couldn't act out of their comfort zone. Instead of some genuine new dinosaurs for this movie, we're given T-Rexes smushed in size and proportions to the point where we wonder what kind of crack the researchers were smoking when they made these horrors. Also, they just look terrible, and have only their ferocity to save face.
Trivia: -Yes, there was indeed a Triassic dinosaur called Gojirasaurus quayi. Named after the famous movie monster, it looked nothing like a T-Rex (more like a larger Coelophysis), and it was decently big, as it was estimated to be longer than a horse and as tall as a grown man. It was in fact the largest carnivorous dinosaur at the time, though in that regard it faced stiff competition from Liliensternus liliensterni.
-There's really nothing else to say here. This film is another huge dud in the Asylum's reputation.
